Hope Drive is dedicated to providing cancer patients access to health care including means of transport or assistance, either financially or otherwise.

3.6 million Americans do not obtain medical care due to lack of transportation, according to the American Hospital Association . Cancer care, which is often highly specialized, is provided at specific facilities, resulting in patients having to travel large distances to receive care. This is especially pronounced in rural areas, or in areas of lower population density and in areas outside the coasts. Longer travel time increases the financial burden on patients, increases the risk of later stage diagnosis as well as makes it harder for patients to keep up with treatments due to logistic or financial burdens.

Hope Drive aims to help remove barriers to medical care by helping with transportation barriers, both financial and logistic. We are also dedicated to providing patients with support for pre and post surgical health care needs as well as ancillary health services.

Hope Drive is dedicated to providing such patients with support for pre and post surgical healthcare needs as well as ancillary health services. There is sufficient evidence to prove that missed or delayed health care appointments results in overall poorer health outcomes. We believe that no one should be denied access to proper health care due to lack of basic needs like transportation.
